1. Actually, the FIFA 06 demo that hit marketplace is for the newly released World Cup Edition. I believe that the previous demo, which is still on the marketplace, is for "Road to for world cup", or something to that affect.

Basically, there are 2 FIFA demos. The new one, is in fact for a new game.

3. Sadly, Top Spin 2 is 50Hz only for some reason, so I can't use it with my VGA cable setup :(

I have a VGA setup and it works fine on mine.

7. You need to use a normal TV cable for 360 to change the pal mode then just put your VGA cable back in.

10. I got to say Ive heard bad things about topspin 2. After playing the demo, I need to go get this game....It's a lot of fun

11. (Update: corrected the timeliness of the FIFA demo. Thanks HoTHiTTeR360 and BraveQuail. Can you tell I don't play sports games much? Seriously though... they just came out with a soccer game less than six months ago! What could they have changed?!)

Amen bro. Amen.

12. Yeah topspin was largely underrated by the media (sans gamespot). But be warned, long loadtimes when completing a season... other than that a fantastic tennis game if i do say so myself.

13. Leckie, you're wrong. I had to do that to get it to work because the PAL mode had been set to PAl50 because I was using it with a TV capture card which only worked with PAL50. So when I switched back to the VGA cable the retarded game (and a few others) was still reading the PAl50 setting even though the PAL settings make no difference when using the VGA cable.

15. "if thats not a reason to hate the money hoaring bastards then i don't know what is. fuck EA"

How about not porting College Baseball to 360 (2K6 sucks)? Or that Madden will now coast EVEN more now that EA has exclusive rights. Then there's the fact that the old Westwood cranked out new games 2-3 a year, but we're lucky to get one C&C game every two years now.

Just a few more reasons to hate EA! :-)
