2. I rented just cause and enjoyed it quite a bit, not enough to buy but fun none the less. I am not sure about ditching the island theme, that was the best part!

3. I have faith in these guys. Just Cause was an excellent but flawed game, as long as they address the parts that needed work, a sequel should be awesome.

And I liked the tropical theme alot.

I loved Just Cause. I loved it because it looked absolutely friggin beautiful on my HDTV with the tropical paradise feel. Thats what set it apart from every GTA clone out there. Now we get a big ugly city? Thats f*cking great.

6. I like Just Cause quite a bit. Not happy about the large city crap though. It's not a perfect game, by any means, but it is fun, especially the flying.

7. Thats sweet. Big city environment is what was missing from the first one. I love the first just cause, except race 7 which i still haven't passed and hence stuck at 980/1000 achivement points :(

9. just cause was AWESOME .. i spent 33 hours getting 1000/1000 and it was fun from beggining to end.

i hope the sequal is even better. the key thing here is 'next gen only' ... so they dont have to think about making the code fit or run on xbox or ps2 so the next game should be TOP!

As for Just Cause 2, I think its a mistake to move from what the first did so well, an expansive outdoor natural environment.

Let me put it this way. Its like going from Predator, to Predator 2. There is no reason Predator 2 should have taken place in a city....

11. #1 I have noticed this too....now I will state this....I am a PS3FANBOY....yes...and i'm on here...i will not bash microsoft or the 360 for the fact that I will soon own one...but will not own a ps3 till early next year...*when they work out the initial bugs and I can get some more money*.....

Now could it be the fact that there is more news for the 360 for the fact that the PS3 is gonna drop very soon....

If you ask me Microsoft *and thier henchmen* are trying to sway as many people to the "Green Side"....

I am willing to put money that microsoft is going to try to do big things as the PS3 launch nears....BIG things....

12. I had a BLAST playing through the entire game and would LOVE a sequel. Game looed AWSOME and needed a few tweaks, overall it was fun to play and that's what really matters anyway!!

14. Whatever you do, do not ditch the jungle!!!

Add submarines, go-karts, and motorized 3-wheel old-people-movers, if you must...maybe vary the takeover missions a bit more, but SAVE THE RAINFOREST!!! It was the only thing that differentiated the game from other GTA clones (well...that and Rico's latin loverman accent)
