New DOAX2 trailer pushes the limits

We never thought we'd say this, but the new Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 trailer may be too bouncy. Available on Marketplace right now (the old E3 trailer has been re-re-released as well), the trailer is very long and very bouncy. So bouncy that it's disturbing, and, dare we say it, unrealistic. But that's really what it's all about, right? Still, this trailer is naughty. Lei Fang on a stripper pole, a little girl on girl "back rub" action, and more tiny swimsuits than you can shake a stick at. Honestly, we wouldn't be surprised if DOAX2 becomes a media target when it ships this winter. Seriously, it's just south of actual porn. See what all the fuss is about after the break. Oh, and they're all technically wearing clothes, but it's still probably NSFW.

Isn't it about time they fix the hair? It looks terrible. See the video in HD here.

21. DeadPlasmaCell:

"I showed my wife this and she laughed her ass off... She has bigger cans than the chicks in this video and they don't move anywhere near like they do in the video.."

I find it mildly interesting you feel the need to point that out. Who are you trying to convince?

22. I didn't even watch it. I'm very proud of myself :)

Giant enemy crab, though? Now that's quality.

23. Yes, yes, we all know of the "jello physics", but what I would like to know is why is their clumpy ass hair flowing right through their bodies the whole time? I know it'll be tough, but watch it a second time and take your eyes OFF of the breasts and you'll see what I mean.

Seriously though, this game will suck out loud.

24. If there was ever a game that could make really good use of Gordan Freeman's gravity gun, this would be it.

25. @ What the Geek

You are completely right, the hair is just disgusting. I mean I couldn't finish the video just because the hair kept making me cringe.

27. Pornography/hentai is great and all, but 60 dollars for that? As a horny nerd, I'll pass.

28. They somehow managed to make that game unsexy.

A couple notes to Team Ninja. First of all, even a little bit of subtlty greatly adds to the sexiness of something.

The boob bouncing was just fricking ridiculous and I expected some of those scenarios to devolve into really bad porno at any second.

Also, the way the girls move is so pathetic and lacks any semblance of grace. These are the things that made the DOA girls sexy at one point; a bare minimum level of subtlty (but still there) and a sort of fluid grace and beauty.

Oh yes, and I could not stop myself from noticing how horrible the hair looks as it passes through limbs and floats around in chunky blocks. For shame.

And, as someone else said, if they are going to waste their time like this they should ust scrap this BS and work on something fun like Ninja Gaiden 2 (crappy porno belongs on the internet and in the back room of video stores, not taking dev time from good games).

29. The girls look terrible, it looks like there's twice as many polygons in the breasts than there are in the whole rest of the model, and the physics that effect them are insane, its like theres an anti-gravity feild located right on their chests and nowhere else. And the hair does look terrible, I couldn't belive how badly it clips right through the models, it throws any scrap of realism that they might have had completely out the window. Hair in Soul Calibur II and III from LAST generation's consoles looked better than this crap.

33. Wow...that was extremely fake. Their b00bs bounced way too much, and their hair was like paper. It was total rediculous, yet strangly hot(I need a gf).

34. Wow, I must say that the game, in its current state, looks like utter crap. First off, their hair reminds of a bloody Komondor (http://www.komondor.org/assets/images/Jani_1), and the boobs... heavens how I love boobs, but those are just ridiculous. I can understand some bounce to make them more natural, but when every step makes them shake like a Jell-O mold in an earthquake, that is just too much. Please guys, have some jump around and play in a pseudo lesbian fashion, but for God's sake... tighten down those boobies.

37. "Seriously, it's just south of actual porn."

saying this resembles pornography is ridiculous. this is no different the men's magazines that show women in skimpy outfits like Maxim. this game is rated M you know...

38. Ha! you fools! They are all lesbians.

Anyone can tell from a mile away. First of all, they are on a deserted island full of females. What the heck kind of vacation is that?! I'll tell you what kind-- the lesbian kind..

They frolick with each other like wild deer in the forest. They give each other massages. In many of the scenes, I can just imagine that girl A frolicks with girl B, girl A pushes down girl B, they fall on each other and bam! and 15 seconds later they are making out on the beach.

39. Ha! They would blink and those things would dance for an hour. Apparently in the DOA universe, gravity around the chest area is reduced by a factor of 5.
Is this suppose to be the sequel of DOA extreme beach volleyball? Because I saw about 2 seconds of the sport and they werent even playing it, she was just standing on the court. Guess that's what called for the renaming...

40. The DOA games have been on THREE seperate generations of consoles and the characters' hair still has this amazing ability to pass through solid objects.

Bloody fix it already!

Oh, and the graphics still aren't a huge upgrade on DOA2. Seriously, what do the developers for this series do all day?
